. Abstract
The main disorders that appear as a result of drug use and addiction in people include decision-making problems and reduced cognitive abilities that have a neurological origin. For this reason, it is very important to investigate whether brain scans show addiction. In people with substance abuse disorder, changes in brain electrical activity patterns and EEG indicators may be observed; However, these changes are not the same in all people and depend on the type of substance, the duration of use, the individual s condition and the time of the test. Therefore, it is not possible to diagnose addiction with brain tape alone, and EEG is more used as an auxiliary tool to check brain function and neurological changes.
Because drug use can alter the activity of the brain s reward, motivation, and cognitive control circuits, certain brain wave patterns may also be affected. Also, according to the research results, delta, theta, alpha and beta waves and some electrophysiological indicators can be different in people with substance use disorder compared to healthy people. Of course, depending on the type of drug consumed and also the reaction of each person to a specific drug, the behavior of brain waves may also be different! Even the method of consumption can affect brain conditions and EEG results.

Brain wave patterns in people with substance use disorders (SUDs) provide clues to underlying pathology
The use of wild dog meta-heuristic algorithm (Wild Dog Optimization) in the processing of brain signals (EEG) for addiction treatment is a new approach in the field of neurotechnology. Below is the summary of this process: 1. The role of the Wild Dog Algorithm (WDO) This algorithm, which is inspired by the group hunting behavior of wild dogs, is used for optimization in two key parts: Feature Selection: reducing the volume of brain voluminous data and selecting the best channels and signal patterns that indicate Craving in an addict. Adjusting parameters to improve the accuracy of machine learning models (such as SVM or network
Adjusting parameters: improving the accuracy of machine learning models (such as SVM or neural networks) that are responsible for detecting a person s brain state.
Process steps
Signal recording: receiving the brain waves of a person in the condition of exposure to addictive stimuli.
Preprocessing and feature extraction: removing noise and converting the signal to numerical data (frequency/time).
Optimization with WDO wild dog algorithm finds the best discriminating features (between normal and craving).
Classification: Based on the optimized features, the model predicts the level of addiction or the probability of relapse.
5 Neurofeedback: Based on the results, the system gives feedback to the patient to replace healthy patterns by changing his brain activity.
. The main advantage
Higher accuracy: due to the algorithm s ability to escape from the local optimum , the accuracy of detecting complex brain patterns increases compared to traditional methods.
Speed: reducing the processing load by removing unnecessary data, which leads to the implementation of **real-time neurofeedback systems.
Conclusion This combination helps doctors to more accurately identify the moments when the patient is at risk of slipping, and apply therapeutic interventions (such as brain stimulation or neurofeedback) at the most accurate time possible.
