Plants Health and Growth Analysis Based on Image Processing and Machine Learning Approaches in STEM Branch

Abstract :
For decades, image analysis technologies have been used more and more to evaluate the growth and health of plants. In this research study, image analysis techniques for assessing the growth and health of plants are reviewed in light of current advancements. This research also evaluates image analysis methods for plant disease diagnosis and identification, robotic harvesting, yield prediction, and fruit maturity detection. In order to identify the object (fruit) in the plant image and apply image processing to determine the growth and health, feature characteristics such as the size, shape, and color of the fruits are used. Additionally, several issues that could make the application of image analysis systems for assessing plant development and health simpler are looked into and explored.
